What Is Pamela Up to and Where Can I Meet Her In Person?
Also a few of her personal photos to share....

If you are in the area of Warrenton, Virginia, please contact us if you would like Pamela to attend a function, give a lecture on any aspect of writing, or do a signing at your book store or library.

Pamela has attended and supported  "Book ’Em" every year it has been held in Waynesborog, Virginia. The Waynesboro Police Department and the Waynesboro Department of Tourism host this yearly event .  Over sixty authors on average attend this wonderful venue with writers from everywhere, including Europe, attending in order to meet the public, sell and sign their books, and network among themselves.  This Book Fair highlights the connection between illiteracy and high crime rates and while the theme is predominantly mystery, suspense/thrillers, and true crime, other genres, such as childrens books, artists, and almost everything else you can think of are represented.   As a charity event, the writers who are participating have donated 40% of the book sales to this worthwhile project.   For more information, visit http://www.bookemfoundation.com.

MARCH 22, 2006:  Pamela was a participating author at the Junior Writers Conference at Lord Fairfax Community College.  Two area high schools (Fauquier High and Liberty High) had quite a few participating students who had submitted their work for critique, discussion in this wonderful all-day event.  Pamela spent time with a very talented group of young ladies who shared their aspirations for writing careers, participated in critiquing each other’s work, and asked lots of questions about publishing.

MAY 24, 2006:     Pamela was invited to come to Fauquier High School to hold a discussion on "character development" with the young writers’ group under the guidance of librarian Sue Walbert.

UPDATE:  Pamela tells us that she has been invited to return to the high school in the Fall to discuss other topics of interest to the young writers group.  In addition, she will be attending the 2007 Young Writers Conference at Lord Fairfax Community College in March.

OCTOBER 7, 2006 - Pamela will be at Borders, Warrenton, Virginia for a lecture/book-signing along with two other authors on Saturday, October 7, 2006.   Please stop by if you are in the area.  She likes to meet readers.   There will be details on the event in all the newspapers so keep your eyes open!

MISCELLANEOUS OUTINGS, 2007 - Pamela has been back to the Borders Warrenton store a couple of times; Teacher Appreciation Day was a lot of fun.  She saw a lot of familiar faces among the teachers from this area!  She also worked with the Young Writers Conference folks again this year in March.  It’s a real joy for her to work with such a great group of enthusiastic (and very talented) young writers from the area high schools.

SEPTEMBER 17, 2007
Pamela was the keynote speaker for the joint meeting being held with the eight different book clubs of Regency of Dominion Valley’s meeting on September 17, 2007 at 7PM.  She made a presentation regarding her road to publishing, and addressed quite a few questions members had about on the experiences she had with her literary agent and publisher in getting the first book of her mystery series published.

COMING IN NOVEMBER, 2008 !

On November 20, 2008, Pamela will be visiting Lumberton, North Carolina to be the featured author at the Osterneck Auditorium at the invitation of the Friends of the Library.  The town of Lumberton hosts a series of lectures each month featuring authors from everywhere to hear a variety of stories about their books, their experiences, their interests - just a wonderful way to get "up close and personal" with published writers.  Pamela will be presenting "Murders, Motives, Mayhem...The Joys of Mystery Writing!" to the good people of Lumberton who can be at the Auditorium at 7:00PM on November 20th.  She is excited about this opportunity and hopes to meet a lot of people and autograph a lot of books.  For a chance to read the book before the appearance, you can visit the "BUY BOOKS" link on this website.

My original oil painting of the bridge in my fictitious town of David's Bridge.  This was the inspiration for the final cover produced by Hilliard & Harris.

My cat Sam - He makes his debut in the second book in my series.
