BOOK ’EM FOUNDATION EVENTS

Pamela has attended and supported  "Book ’Em" every year it has been held in Waynesboro, Virginia. The Waynesboro Police Department and the Waynesboro Department of Tourism host this yearly event .  Over sixty authors on average attend this wonderful venue with writers from everywhere, including Europe, attending in order to meet the public, sell and sign their books, and network among themselves.  This Book Fair highlights the connection between illiteracy and high crime rates and while the theme is predominantly mystery, suspense/thrillers, and true crime, other genres, such as childrens books, artists, and almost everything else you can think of are represented.   As a charity event, the writers who are participating have donated 40% of the book sales to this worthwhile project.   For more information, visit http://www.bookemfoundation.com.    

Other Outings......

Rather than get into a long (and probably boring!) list of all of Pamela's media events, appearances, talks, signings over the past several years, we'll just say that she loves to talk to people about her writing and her art and if the event isn't too far from home, she's happy to visit.  She has participated in writers conferences, high school writing group forums, book store special events, library events and speaking engagements.
